Garden Of Organic Delights

Hello, we are a garden salon dedicated to all gardening and landscaping (along with the philosophy) that is organic /natural and sustainable in nature with least harm IPM. (integrated pest management)  We do not advocate the use of synthetic chemicals in the urban garden, near schools or near our homes and we use and recommend  Tilth methods and sustainability in the process.  This website  contains many ideas including spiritual and philosophical ones about  gardening and the environment.  We might be a tad outspoken.

This website is a labor of love & fun and dedicated to our friends and family members who have experienced cancer.   We cannot say survived quite honestly because some of them are only with us in spirit! Blessings and good thoughts to everyone. The purpose is to share and learn and spread the word of organic/natural gardening and landscaping  for the home gardener.  We also want to empower people.  Our philosophy is that "we the people" have a right to clean safe and nutritious food and environment regardless of income level.  You do not have to be a Ph.d to understand or utilize organic/natural methods or to plant and grow food for your family; just be willing to try and ask for help.  Earth wisdom and Mother wit are in each of us. 

Please email us if you have a particular interest that you would like to be a moderator on.  We are regionally located in the Northwest but are interested in hearing about green ideas from everywhere.  We do review ideas and methods presented and we do present research by others but we are volunteers and lay people and are presenting materials that we have used ourselves and others that we know works for the home gardener.

Protecting the earth protects us.   We advocate joining your local tilth organization especially if you can participate in your local community garden program.  It is really fun to garden with others.   Learn about organic /natural and sustainable gardening and landscaping, hang out with your local organic gardening friends and you will never need to go to a shrink again! Organic or what is now referred to as "sustainable" gardening is all about Food, Fun and Laughter and and caring for the earth.

Plant a Row for the Hungry and grow 10% for your local food bank. 

(think what would happen to community hunger if we all did this)

We are all part of the food and soil web.  We are unabashedly  synthetic chemical free. in other words you need to go elsewhere for advice and information on engineered garden chemicals.
